School-based travel contracts place therapists in schools and districts. In ProTherapy Staffing's feed the School setting holds 6 open contracts right now, for Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists and Physical Therapist Assistants, in Alaska, Florida and Oregon.

The 6 open School contracts have a median advertised pay of $2,460 a week (gross, before tax). That clears the 5-contract floor for a median, but with fewer than 10 contracts behind it, read it as directional rather than precise.
Because the School slice is small, it moves a lot week to week: one contract opening or filling changes the count, and can change the median. The setting-by-setting comparison is on the settings index.
Each contract's length, start date, guaranteed hours and cancellation terms are set per assignment by the facility and the agency, and are written into that contract. For a school contract, ask how its dates line up with the district's calendar, what the caseload is, and how breaks are handled.
Breaks matter because time off is not paid unless the agreement says it is. In the U.S. Department of Labor's words:
“The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) does not require payment for time not worked, such as vacations, sick leave or federal or other holidays.”
“These benefits are matters of agreement between an employer and an employee (or the employee's representative).”
So get the break schedule, and whether any of it is paid, in writing. The contract checker covers the rest of a contract's terms.
Licensing: SLPs mostly license state by state, while OTs can use the OT Compact only where it is issuing privileges. Licensing by discipline.
