What the open contracts in ProTherapy Staffing's feed are advertised at, setting by setting: the median weekly gross (taxable wages plus stipends, before tax) and how many contracts it rests on.
| Setting | Median weekly gross | Contracts |
|---|---|---|
| Home health | $2,570 | 29 |
| Inpatient (hospital & rehab) | $2,480 | 77 |
| Outpatient | $2,480 | 112 |
| Skilled nursing (SNF) | $2,130 | 750 |
| School-based | $2,460 | 6 |
A setting with fewer than 5 contracts is left out of the table rather than given a median; every setting in the feed clears that bar today. A contract listed under two settings counts toward both, so the counts do not add up to the total.
The same contracts by discipline. Assistant-level contracts sit mostly in skilled nursing, which is one reason a setting's median reflects its discipline mix as well as its pay.
| Setting | PT | OT | SLP | PTA | COTA |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Home health | 21 | 4 | 1 | 3 | 0 |
| Inpatient (hospital & rehab) | 36 | 16 | 11 | 10 | 4 |
| Outpatient | 81 | 9 | 3 | 19 | 0 |
| Skilled nursing (SNF) | 228 | 115 | 78 | 206 | 123 |
| School-based | 0 | 1 | 4 | 1 | 0 |
The feed records acute hospital and inpatient rehab contracts under one Inpatient setting, and it cannot tell them apart. So there is no separate acute-care count or median: acute openings are inside the inpatient (hospital & rehab) figures. Ask a recruiter whether a given inpatient contract is acute or rehab before you compare it with another.
Pay is one input. The others the feed cannot measure: caseload, documentation load, schedule, and how much evaluation versus treatment the role carries. Ask for each in writing; the contract checker lists the contract terms worth pinning down.
