About Travel Therapist Jobs

Travel Therapist Jobs is a job board for travel PTs, OTs, SLPs and assistants whose listings all come from the job feed of the staffing agency that publishes it, with guides and tools for checking an offer before you sign. This page says who that publisher is, what the board is and is not, where its listings and pay figures come from, and who to contact.

By ProTherapy Staffing, published October 26, 2026.

What is Travel Therapist Jobs?

The board is built for finding a contract and for checking it. It lists open travel contracts for physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, PTAs and COTAs, with the weekly pay shown on every listing and filters by discipline, state and setting. It also helps you check an offer: state pages with licensure information, guides on a tax home, housing stipends and extensions, and tools such as the contract checker and the tax home checker.

If you want to know where to begin, the start here page walks you through the board. This page answers a different question: who stands behind it, and how its figures are kept honest.

Who publishes the board?

The board is published by a travel therapy staffing agency, and every listing on it is an opening from that agency’s own job feed. ProTherapy Staffing, which publishes this site, has been PT-owned and operated since 2012.

That sentence is the whole of what this page claims about the publisher. The request forms on the board go to the publisher’s recruiters, and the card and the bar at the foot of each page that point to open jobs are the publisher’s own. The board carries no advertising and no paid placements from any other company.

What is the board not?

It is not a board where agencies or facilities post their own listings. Every contract here comes from the publisher’s feed. The form for facilities sends a staffing request to the publisher; it does not publish a listing.

It is not a ranking of agencies. The guides tell you what to ask any agency for in writing, such as the pay split and the cancellation terms, and they do not score agencies or set the publisher against anyone else.

It is not a pay survey, and it is not tax advice. The pay figures are what open contracts are advertised at, not what travelers report, and pay shared through the board’s form is not added to it. The tax guides explain the IRS rules and link them, and for your own return they point you to a tax professional.

If you would like a person to look over a listing or an offer with you, ask a ProTherapy recruiter: Find my next contract.

Where do the listings and pay figures come from, and how do they stay current?

The publisher’s job feed records each opening’s discipline, state, city, setting, weekly pay and start date. It records no contract length, so no page gives a length statistic, and you should confirm the start and end dates in writing.

Some state, specialty and guide pages also quote official bodies, such as the PT Compact Commission, the OT Compact Commission and state tax departments, each with a link, and the quoted FAQ answers name the date their source was read. Where a guide shows an updated date, it is taken from the page’s own history.

Who do you contact?

To reach a person, call or text the business line on the publisher’s contact page, which also takes a written message. If a listing or a figure looks wrong, such as a contract that has closed or a pay figure that does not match its posting, name the page and the listing when you send it.

If you would rather wait for the right contract, the job alerts link on the home page sends an alert when a new contract opens in your discipline and state.

Frequently asked questions

Are the jobs on this board from several agencies?

No. Every listing comes from the job feed of the staffing agency that publishes the board, named on this page. A request you send through the board goes to that agency and no other.

Is the weekly pay on a listing take-home pay?

No. It is the advertised weekly gross from the feed, taxable wages plus stipends, before tax. What you keep depends on your taxes and on how the package is split, so ask for that split in writing.

How current are the pay figures?

The counts and medians come from a pinned copy of the feed, and the pages that show them name the date their pay data is as of. The listing cards are checked against the live feed when the pages are rebuilt, so confirm a contract with a recruiter before you plan around it.
